Speech-Language Pathologist - Clinic

We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week) Speech Language Pathologist in Clinic. The designated office for this position is London. 

Responsibilities

  • Plan services and provide consultation for children with a variety of abilities, often as part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes the family, other care providers, school board personnel, volunteers, staff from other agencies, and other TVCC staff;
  • Facilitate referrals to and consult with community therapists as appropriate;
  • Assist clients and families in connecting with community resources as appropriate;
  • Provide support for the Developmental Paediatric Clinic(s) including but not limited to speech/language assessments and academic screening;
  • Brief targeted intervention may be required;
  • Consultation with the School Therapy Services clinicians and school board SLP’s;
  • Supporting the ASD Diagnostic Hub assessments;
  • Cross training support to new and existing clinics;
  • Supervision of students and support personnel may be required.


Qualifications

  • Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario;
  • Experience working with paediatric patients with complex medical needs is preferred;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment;
  • Computer proficiency including MS Office Suite 365 and videoconferencing software (ex. Teams);
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required;
  • Current certification in First Aid and CPR;
  • Ability to provide services in French is considered an asset.
