Core Clinical Services (CCS) offers Classroom-based, Individual & Group treatment options for children and youth with autism including:

  • A variety of flexible, individualized treatment options
  • Programs designed, with you, to meet your child’s needs and your family’s preferences
  • A child and family focus in all services
  • Highly trained, professional, and caring clinical teams led by registered Behaviour Analysts
  • Programs that meet the Ontario government’s Core Clinical Services program requirements

In Autism & Behavioural Services we teach socially significant, meaningful skills that support our clients at their best. We practice trauma-informed, compassionate ABA using methods that are evidence-based and individualized to the learner. Our well-trained clinicians develop trusting relationships with the children and youth we support and teach effectively, by making performance-based decisions throughout treatment.

As soon as you have confirmed eligible funding, please let us know so we can get you started in CCS! CCS may be purchased using OAP funding, other MCCSS sources, or Jordan's Principle funds.

What are Core Clinical Services (CCS) at TVCC?

Who is eligible for CCS?

Children and youth with autism/ASD and their families who live in Ontario, are registered with the Ontario Autism Program, and have received eligible public funding (i.e., OAP, other MCCSS sourced, or Jordan's Principle funds)

What is included in the cost of CCS?

CCS at TVCC is All-Inclusive.  

Fees include:

  • Treatment planning and program development, individualized to your child
  • Direct intervention with your child
  • Progress discussions/meetings between you and the Behaviour Analyst
  • Clinical supervision and training of staff
  • Consultations with your child's educational team and community service providers
  • Report writing and documentation
  • Program materials and supplies
  • Invoices and receipts necessary to reconcile eligible purchases with AccessOAP (or other eligible funding source)
  • If travel is required, associated costs will be detailed in your Service Agreement

There are no hidden fees and no additional costs.

 Where are CCS programs located?

Programs are available across Southwestern Ontario. We have ABS classrooms and individual therapy spaces at TVCC locations in:

  • Chatham
  • London (2 sites)
  • Owen Sound
  • Sarnia
  • St. Thomas
  • Stratford (2 sites)
  • Windsor

*Clients who live further than 25 km from a TVCC location, with significant transportation issues, may be eligible to receive services in a more convenient community location. Eligibility criteria and travel costs will apply. Speak with a CCS Program Coordinator to learn more.

Who delivers the CCS Programs?

Our clinical teams are led by Behaviour Analysts who are Board Certified Behavior Analysts® or are registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. These clinicians work with families to develop, monitor and adjust each child or youth’s individualized treatment program.

Each child or youth also receives direct support from qualified Instructor Therapists with integrated services from other clinicians, where appropriate (e.g., Occupational Therapist, Speech & Language Pathologist)

Our ABS clinical staff also includes our team of experienced Clinical Supervisors who mentor, support and provide additional supervision to our clinical teams. They are highly experienced Behaviour Analysts who work closely with the team and with families to help resolve high-risk or difficult challenges children and youth with autism may experience.

Do you have any consultation or trainings for parents/ caregivers?
