Brachial Plexus Treatment

The Brachial Plexus is a bundle of nerves that travels from the spinal cord into the arm and hand. A Brachial Plexus injury can occur when there are complications at childbirth and these nerves are affected. This service provides acute therapy to babies with this injury up to one year of age.

A physician or parent can make a referral for this clinic.

This Specialty Clinic Service is available for clients and families in the following counties: Middlesex, Elgin and Oxford. 

What to Expect

During therapy sessions at TVCC, the Occupational Therapist will assess and provide recommendations to the family related to the injury.
