Specialty Clinics

TVCC offers many paediatric medical and dental clinics. Most clinics are diagnosis specific.

Most Specialty Clinics have one or more physician specialists or dental practitioners available. TVCC clinicians including physiotherapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), speech-language pathology (SLP), social work (SW), and registered nurse (RN) clinicians are often a part of these Specialty Clinics.

Acquired Brain Injury (PABICOP) Outreach program for children and adolescents with diagnosed, acquired brain injuries (ABI)

Amputee For clients who need a consult with an Orthopaedic Surgeon and/or Physiotherapist.

Brachial Plexus Treatment Acute Therapy following obstetrical nerve injury to the upper extremity.

Cerebral Palsy For infants, children, and youth with a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy who have complex needs requiring multidisciplinary care and support.

Cleft Lip and Palate (CLP) Assess and treat children and youth in Southwestern Ontario who have conditions affecting their teeth and facial structure.

Continence Provides information and strategies to help children and youth (ages 5+) achieve better bladder and bowel control

Dental Funding Assessment of eligibility for funding for dental services.

Developmental Paediatric Assessment Clinic Specialty Clinic Services are available for clients and families in Southwestern Ontario

Neuromuscular Clinic For infants, children, and youth with a diagnosis of a neuromuscular condition

Orthopaedic The Orthopaedic Clinic helps children with problems with their bones.

Rett Syndrome Clients and their families may see some or all of the Clinic team in one visit

Spina Bifida Specialty Clinic Services are available for clients and families in Southwestern Ontario
