TVCC offers a range of participation programs, including camps and activities, to help clients and families be their best.

Various educational opportunities are also offered through TVCC for caregivers and community members. These range from information sessions to hands-on “how to…” workshops.

(In-person, July 21-25) A brand new summer camp opportunity for young explorers! TVCC is partnering with Childreach to bring their Wild Child Summer Day Camp to TVCC clients!

Zines 101 (12 yrs+)

(In-person, Jul 22) This program will support participants in communicating with other youth in a fun and creative manner. We will share simple tips and techniques to personalize zines as well as praticing doodling, colouring and decorating skills.

Teen Pool Party & Movie Matinee (12 yrs+)

(In-person, Jul 25) Our 60 minute swim time will be followed by a movie matinee showing of "Puss in Boots; The Last Wish", with snacks! It’s the perfect way to celebrate summer and mingle with new friends!

Meals and Reels: Friends, Food, Films, and Fun (12 yrs+)

(In-person, Jul 28 & Aug 19) Come join us for a meal and a movie. Participants will walk to the No Frills across the street to buy the ingredients needed before returning to TVCC to make their meal together.

Youth Boccia Ball League (12 yrs+)

(In-person, Thurs, Jul 31-Aug 21) Whether you are an experienced player or brand new to the game you are more than welcome to come and play with your peers. Each session will begin with warm up activities and drills to learn the basic skills of the game before playing a game.

(In-Person, Aug 5, Aug 11) A program for TVCC Youth & siblings, 12 yrs + and parents/caregivers to enjoy exciting board games & Lego. This program designed to encourage social skill development and self-confidence, as well as provide a fun space for family bonding!

Summer Adventures Day Camp (4-9 yrs)

(In-person, Aug 5-8) Join us for a fun week of accessible recreational activities for children between the ages of 4 - 9 years old with physical disabilities. Campers will participate in co-operative games,  swimming, sports,  outdoor play, crafts, music and more.
