For parents/caregivers of TVCC youth with disabilities/special education needs, 12 yrs and older, who will be entering high school.
What to Expect
This in-person workshop is for TVCC families preparing their grade 7 or 8 student for the transition to high school. Have questions about how things will really be for kids?
Unsure about when things will be happening and who to talk to? Do you want to hear from parents who have done this already? This is the chance!
This workshop will begin with a panel presentation of parents who have experienced the transition to high school with their own child. The workshop will follow with an opportunity to talk to TVCC Parent Mentors and to learn about TVCC programs and services for youth.
