For parents/caregivers and TVCC youth with disabilities/special education needs, 12 yrs and older, who will be entering high school.
What to Expect
This in-person workshop is for TVCC families preparing for the transition to high school. This event is for both parents/caregivers and their youth ages 12 to 14 yrs (grade 7 & 8).
This workshop will begin with a panel presentation of parents and youth who have experienced the transition to high school, followed by an opportunity to learn about TVCC programs and services for youth through the high school years.
*Youth will gather separately to chat as a group with a facilitator, exploring their hopes and fears about the move to high school and participate in some fun activities with our youth staff.
