Creating Social Narratives (London & Stratford)

For parents/caregivers of children with autism.

What to Expect

NEW* Join us in person in London for an engaging and interactive workshop designed for parents (please do not bring your child to this event) who want to help their children and youth adapt to new situations through the power of social narratives.

Social narratives can be effective tools that can make new or unfamiliar situations like going on vacation, visiting the dentist, or starting at a new school much smoother by presenting these experiences in a story format.

What You'll Learn:
• The importance of social narratives in helping children and youth prepare for new experiences.
• Step-by-step guidance on how to write or customize social narratives tailored to your child's needs.
• Hands-on practice in creating and experimenting with new material in a supportive and collaborative environment.

What to Bring:
• Pictures and ideas to help you create personalized social narratives to take home.

This workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn practical skills, share ideas, and create meaningful stories that can ease your child's transitions and help them feel more comfortable in new situations. We look forward to seeing you in person!
