What to Expect

Virtual Group Behavioural Treatment

Join our conversation quest and become a chat quest champion!

This engaging virtual group offers interactive challenges, role-playing scenarios, and skill-building exercises to enhance your social skills. Connect with peers, practice real-world conversations, and develop the confidence to excel in social settings. Embark on this exciting journey and master the art of communication while having fun!

Participants who will thrive in this environment can answer simple "WH" questions (who/what/where/when/why) briefly, retell stories in their own words, and practice conversations with prompts from adults or peers.

This series of virtual groups is offered through a partnership with TVCC's Autism Services and the University of Western Ontario Education Department and Mary J. Wright Child and Youth Development Clinic. This initiative is supported by a MCCSS Ontario Autism Program Workforce Capacity Grant in the Innovation Stream. It is a very exciting opportunity for Behavioural Services and Mental Health Services to work together!
