TVCC Youth with disabilities, and a sibling/friend, 12 yrs +, who reside within Elgin/Middlesex, Huron/Perth, Grey/Bruce & Oxford County.
What to Expect
Calling all budding chefs! In this group, we will be making and eating grilled cheese sandwiches and salad together. We will also play some trivia. This hands-on event is perfect for youth who love food, creativity, and spending time with friends.
BONUS! There is a Creative Connections group that will run directly before Dinner With Friends. Clients are encouraged to register for and attend both. Here’s what you can expect:
- Learn how to prepare grilled cheese sandwiches
- Learn how to prepare a salad
- Prepare the grilled cheese sandwiches and the salad following the steps provided
- Trivia: Learn some fun facts and put your knowledge to the test!
- Enjoy: Once the grilled cheese sandwiches are out of the oven, enjoy a delicious meal and admire everyone’s creations.
This program is perfect for teens who want to learn a new skill, make friends, and have a great time. No cooking experience is needed, and all supplies are provided!
