This group is for TVCC youth and their siblings (12 yrs +) of all abilities who reside within Middlesex, Elgin, Oxford, Huron, Perth, Grey, and Bruce counties.
What to Expect
Join Horizons youth team and The Wellness Project for an afternoon of creative expression and making art. We will explore different ways of telling stories and journalling through writing and visual art. We will provide the supplies, you just bring your creative spirit! All fine motor and literacy accommodations/needs are welcome.
This group is for clients and their siblings ages 12+.
In this program youth will:
- Interact with other TVCC clients like them
- Participate in self-expression activities to develop self-awareness
- Learn different journalling techniques, including creative writing and visual arts
Participant Criteria:
- TVCC clients and their siblings ages 12+
- Able to participate in group activities and discussion with minimal personal support; participants are welcome to have a support person present to assist them
- Interested in art and/or creative writing
