Playful Connections is a parent-tot unstructured play group for preschoolers with special needs.

Enjoy the opportunity to connect with other children and caregivers in a supportive and engaging environment. A variety of engaging hands-on play stations will be available for you and your child to play and explore together and with other playgroup families.

Each sessions will include an introduction to structured circle time facilitated by TVCC staff. Songs, music and interactive games will be introduced during circle time.

This program is best suited for children who are 'group ready'. Consider if your child is ready to enter into the group space with minimal support/prompts and Interact with peers in a group environment in a safe way for themselves and others.

Parents/caregivers MUST participate and supervise with their child(ren).

This program will focus on the following goals:

• Practice skills such as entering a new space, transitions, exploring different sensory play experiences, engaging in different styles of play.
• Practice skills in unstructured play and structured circle time.
• Play in an enriched play space with a variety of early years toys that promote exploration and engagement.

Dates: Fridays, November 1, 8, 22 & 29, 2024 (no playgroup Nov 15)

Time: 10:00  - 11:00 a.m.
