Safety and Sexuality

For parents/caregivers, community and therapists supporting youth with autism and other disabilities.

What to Expect

Navigating discussions about sexuality with your child or youth can often feel daunting.

Many parents may feel uncertain about where to begin or how to broach the subject.  Sexuality encompasses a range of topics, including emotions, body awareness, and developing healthy relationships with clear boundaries. Understanding and educating about sexuality is crucial for promoting overall health and well-being.

Join us to discover how to create opportunities and safe spaces for learning about sexuality. We will provide examples of skills that can be taught and tools that can be used to support learning.  We will also provide valuable resources to support you in this journey.
