Heroes Circle Meditative Martial Arts Therapy

For TVCC clients and their siblings 6-12 yrs who reside within Elgin-Middlesex-Oxford, Grey-Bruce, and Huron-Perth counties. 

What to Expect

Heroes Circle Meditative Martial Arts Therapy teaches meditation, breathing and movement techniques found in the martial arts to empower children beyond and through the experiences of childhood disease or disability. Siblings are welcome to join.

This small group is set up as an introduction to the weekly community programs hosted by Heroes Circle Karate that clients will be invited to attend if they want to continue with Heroes Circle. 

This program is appropriate for all bodies and abilities! Accommodations and adaptations will be presented throughout. 

Children will need to be able to be safe in a group setting and follow group instructions. 

In this program clients will:

  • learn skills for physical, spiritual, and emotional healing
  • increase capacity to work through emotions
  • learn relaxation techniques
  • increase self confidence
  • improve focus and concentration
