Open to all TVCC youth clients from the age of 12 until you leave high school!
Horizons is the youth services program at TVCC, created just for TVCC youth ages 12+. We work with all abilities, all diagnoses, and all situations. The Horizons team is here to help as you work on answering important questions and achieving goals that come up through the teen years.
We work with you in three ways:
- Learning for you and your adults: we have handouts, links, workshops, and videos to help you get information and answers on your own time. Look at the Education page for current opportunities.
- Growing with peers: we offer groups, programs, and events where you can hang out with other teens and find different ways to become independent, however that looks for you. Check out the Participation page for current opportunities.
- Customized options: have questions about teens and disabilities? Have a specific goal you want to figure out but don’t know where to start? Book a Let’s Talk Teens call with one of our team and we can help you out!
If you are not sure how you/your youth may fit into our programming, reach out by either booking a Let’s Talk Teens chat or emailing horizons [at] tvcc.on.ca (horizons[at]tvcc[dot]on[dot]ca) We are ready to support all youth with participation and goals.
Access to Services
Horizons is open to all TVCC youth clients living in London/Middlesex, Elgin, Oxford, Huron, Perth, Grey and Bruce counties. You can get involved with Horizons from the age of 12 until you turn 18 or leave high school.
A call with one of our Horizons team is a great place to get started. Choose a date and time that works best for you. If none of the available times work for you or you need help getting started, reach out at horizons [at] tvcc.on.ca (horizons[at]tvcc[dot]on[dot]ca)

What to Expect
When you are referred or register for one of our events for the first time, one of the team will be in touch to welcome you to Horizons and book a convenient time for a Let’s Talk Teens chat. This will help us know more about you, your hopes, and your questions, and get you started with Horizons.
We may share resources, connect you with other people or places that would be helpful, or you may have some specific goals that you would like to work on and we can make a plan for that.
Horizons groups and workshops are available for online through Teams and in-person - check program locations when you register. You will receive meeting details and/or Teams information by email after you register.
