Social Work Service

Picture of a family

Social work can play an important role in supporting children and families. Our team will help you along your journey of raising a child with a disability.

This might include connecting you with a service in the community or at TVCC. It could be helping you find possible funding or it could be brief counselling sessions. Service is provided in person, virtually, by telephone, in the community, at TVCC, or at your home.

Access to Services

Talk with one of your child's TVCC therapists about accessing a social worker.

Do you need help with funding applications? Sign up for a one-on-one consultation to go through funding applications step-by-step with the Family Support and Funding Facilitator at TVCC. Help is offered for many different applications (Please book one appointment for each application type).

You will receive an email before your appointment with details about the information/documents you will need to bring to your appointment related to your specific funding application choice. We cannot complete the funding forms without all of the information listed. If you do not have all of the information you are told to bring, please let us know and we will help you find it and/or rebook your appointment.

For information on common funding forms, please see our YouTube channel playlist
