What to Expect
Start your summer with confidence!
Our Kickoff to Summer Camp is designed for youth who want to improve on essential social skills, make new friends, and feel comfortable and prepared for a fun and social summer.
This camp is all about learning and practicing the skills needed to enjoy social interactions during the summer– whether it is meeting new people, joining group activities, or feeling more at ease in social settings.
Through structured activities, teamwork, and guided peer interactions, campers will have the opportunity to improve communication, problem-solving, and friendship-building skills that they can carry with them into the rest of their summer!
Camp goals:
- Social skills for summer success
- Fun and interactive activities
- Supportive environment
- Guidance from experienced staff
With experienced therapists and oversight by a Registered Behaviour Analyst, R.B.A., (Ont.) in a small group setting, every individual will have the support they need to learn, grow and have a fantastic time.

At TVCC, we are dedicated to providing the best possible support for each child and youth to be at their best. For our Kickoff to Summer Camp, youth who experience challenging behaviours that can disrupt group activities, who need one-on-one assistance, and/or are not fully independent to go to the washroom, may not be the best fit for this program.
With a staff-to-participant ratio of 1:2, we may not be able to provide the level of support needed for youth who require more individualized care. If this applies to your youth, we can help connect you with alternative services that may be a better fit. Our priority is to ensure your youth gets the support they need to thrive and be successful.
