What to Expect
Virtual Group Behavioural Treatment
Does your child have an ADHD diagnosis in addition to Autism?
Do you want to learn specific strategies to support their ADHD symptoms? Offered by Child and Youth Psychologists and Graduate Student Clinicians at the Mary J. Wright Child and Youth Development Clinic, this virtual 4-week “starter-kit” gives caregivers evidence-based tools to manage ADHD symptoms in children.
Come together to learn and share strategies in a small virtual group, then have a private virtual meeting with a Graduate Student Clinician to discuss your own situation. After the group is finished, additional 1:1 sessions may be offered, as appropriate.
This virtual group is open to all parents of children and youth with Autism and ADHD currently living in Ontario. Multiple parents of the same child may attend/switch as needed. Your child does not need to attend but many children make appearences on screen. Strategies given in this group will be most applicable to children who can speak in a variety of full sentences and follow at least two-step instructions.

This series of virtual groups is offered through a partnership with TVCC's Autism Services and the University of Western Ontario Education Department and Mary J Wright Learning and Development Clinic. This initiative is supported by a MCCSS Ontario Autism Program Workforce Capacity Grant in the Innovation Stream. It is a very exciting opportunity for Behavioural Services and Mental Health Services to work together!

Time: 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Cost: $325.00 for 4 sessions
Location: Virtual - Microsoft Teams
