What to Expect
Virtual Group Behavioural Treatment
Join us on an expedition to master your emotions! This fun, virtual group is perfect for kids and teens who want to explore the journey of emotional regulation.
In this action-packed group, you’ll dive into exciting discussions, hands-on activities, and creative exercises that help you understand and manage your feelings! Each week, you'll complete challenges, tackle real-life emotional scenarios, and play interactive games that build confidence and resilience. This expedition is an adventure of self-discovery designed to make life’s ups and downs a whole lot easier to handle!
Participants who will thrive in this environment can answer simple "WH" questions (who/what/where/when/why) briefly, retell stories in their own words, and practice conversations with prompts from adults or peers.
This virtual group is open to all children and youth with autism, province wide. *Please see the age groupings identified when selecting the session time.
Registration
Session 1 for 10-13 year olds
Dates: Wednesdays; January 15 - March 19, 2025
Time: 4:45 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.
Cost: $650.00 for 10 sessions
Location: Virtual - Microsoft Teams
