What to Expect
Virtual Group Behavioural Treatment
Join the Social Skills Hub! Come be part of an exciting, supportive group where kids and teens with autism can unlock their full social potential!
Through fun activities, role-playing games, and discussions, we’ll explore how to connect with others, decode social cues, and handle different situations like a pro. Each session is a chance to boost communication skills and feel more confident in social settings. The Social Skills Hub is all about celebrating what makes you unique, building resilience, and creating a positive, inclusive space where you can truly thrive!
Participants who will thrive in this environment can answer simple "WH" questions (who/what/where/when/why) briefly, retell stories in their own words, and practice conversations with prompts from adults or peers.
This virtual group is open to all children and youth with autism, province wide. *please see the age groupings identified when selecting the session time.
Registration
Session 1 for 10-13 year olds
Dates: Tuesdays; January 14 - March 18, 2025
Time: 4:45 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.
Cost: $650.00 for 10 sessions
Location: Virtual - Microsoft Teams
