Understanding Challenging Behaviour (Part 2)

For parents/caregivers, community and therapists supporting children/youth, of all ages, with autism.

What to Expect

Understanding Challenging Behaviour - PART 1 introduced concepts about WHY people behave the way they do.

You learned that ALL behaviour happens for a reason and you learned ways to support your child when they are struggling.

NOW, Understanding Challenging Behaviour - PART 2 shares practical strategies for HOW TO reduce challenging behaviour and HOW TO encourage positive behaviour patterns.

These strategies can help keep your child safer in new situations, can make the hardest parts of your day go more smoothly, and can reduce the possibility of harm to your child and others.

Join us for a more advanced look at Understanding Challenging Behaviour. Information and concepts in this presentation will build on learning introduced in Understanding Challenging Behaviour - Part 1.
